Your privacy is important to the CSEA Employee Benefit Fund (EBF).
The EBF is committed to protecting the privacy of all visitors to our website. The EBF has worked hard to protect your privacy by applying privacy standards to all types of personal information that it may collect, whether in electronic or hard copy format, whether original documents or copies, whether free-standing or networked.
The EBF uses safeguards and techniques designed to secure the personal information of its members. It limits access to information to those who specifically need it to conduct their business responsibilities and only permits authorized employees, trained in the proper handling of member information, and its contracted business partners to have access to that information.
The EBF does not share personally identifiable member health or financial information for any purpose other than for the administration, servicing of a contract, claim processing or account management, or other purposes permitted by law without a member's prior written authorization. The EBF does not share, sell, or rent any personally identifiable information about current or former members.
The Information the EBF Collects
You should be aware that when you visit EBF's website, it collects certain information that does not identify you personally, but provides it with "usage data," such as the number of website visitors, the pages visited most often and the forms most frequently accessed. This usage data helps the EBF to analyze and improve the functionality of its website.
Information Received Through the EBF's Website
The EBF respects and values your right to privacy and feels that it is important for you to know how it handles any information received through its website.
You can visit the EBF website without revealing any personal information. If you choose to provide EBF with personally identifying member information, it may share that information with those employees who need to know in order to provide EBF services and benefits to you.
Any information you provide to the EBF, or is collected by the EBF through its website will not negatively affect your benefit coverage, eligibility, cost of coverage or claims payment. Please note that the EBF may request personal information from you in order to provide requested materials or information, respond to questions, or deliver a product or service.

Please know that if you send the EBF an email communication using any of the email links on its website, it may be shared with a Member Service representative or other appropriate EBF employees. Once the EBF has responded to your communication, it will be archived in its computer system.
