Enhancements Made To EBF's Unified Court System Plans
As a result of negotiations between CSEA and the Unified Court System (UCS) a number of significant enhancements were approved by the Employee Benefit Fund (EBF) Board of Trustees that improve the benefits offered under the UCS Employees Dental Plan. These improvements took effect January 1, 2023 and have been included in the new plan summary descriptions available on our website at https://www.cseaebf.com/uni_court_system.php.
Full-Time & Part-Time Enhancements
- Rx/Physician Co-Pay Reimbursement – increased from $350 to $400
- Maternity Reimbursement – increased from $200 to $300
- Implants
- A $2,000 allowance will be provided for the surgical placement of implant(s) per calendar year outside the annual max
- A provider, either participating or non-participating will be permitted to charge their customary fee for the implant body placement(s) and accept the $2,000 allowance against such fee*
Full-Time & Part-Time Services Added to Dental Plan
- Cone beam Imaging (X-Ray's prior to implants)
- Precision Attachments
- Interim Dentures – Temporary Dentures
- Fluoride – Topical/Varnish
Retiree Enhancements
- Rx/Physician Co-Pay Reimbursement – increased from $350 to $400
Retiree Services Added to Dental Plan
- Implants
- A $500 allowance will be provider for the surgical placement of an implant (2 percalendar year)
- A $125 allowance will be provided for the placement of an implant abutment (2 per calendar year)
- Cone beam Imaging (X-Ray's prior to implants)
- Fluoride – Topical/Varnish
